They pay attention to their behavior, what they say, and how others see them. What is your self-awareness level as a leader? I do not know what this is I did not know self-awareness was even important. I need help understanding what this is and how to gain this as a leader. I know what this is, but I don’t practice it. I know what self-awareness is. I see other leaders who are self aware. But I have no idea how to practice this myself. I need help learning how to do this. I do practice this, but I want to do it better. I am consciously practicing self-awareness. But I feel that I am not always as aware as I need to be in high pressure situations. I need help mastering my own self-awareness in all situations I do this really well, but could always do better. I am extremely self-aware and just naturally know what to do in every situation. While I feel I do this well, I would love to study it more and take it to the next level. None 3. Adaptability Success in leadership comes down to your ability to react in each specific situation. This involves an intuitive sense of the problem, the perspectives and personalities of those involved, and the appropriate response you must deliver to solve the problem. What is your experience with adaptability? I do not know what this is. I am generally not aware of adaptability as a skill. I need help understanding what it means to be adaptable and how to do it. I need help. I know what this is, but I don’t practice it. I know what it means to be adaptable, but I struggle reading people and understanding the situations around me. I need help learning how to be adaptable. I do practice this, but I want to do it better. I am an adaptable leader. I try to really be adaptable in everything that I do, but I know I can do better reading people, situations, and adjusting my response accordingly. I want to learn how to do this better. I do this really well, but could always do better. I am a highly adaptable leader. I naturally know how to read people, the situation, and understand the best response based on the situation. I am a natural at this, but I would like to understand more. I know there is always room for improvement None 4. Alignment One of the biggest impacts you can have on your success as a leader is working on alignment. Alignment works both ways. First, you have to ensure your team is supporting the leadership above you. Then you have to make sure those working on your team are aligned with your vision. What is your experience with alignment? I do not know what this is I do not know what alignment really means. I need help understanding what alignment is and how to do it. I need help. I know what this is, but I don’t practice it. I know what alignment is. But I have not practiced this as a leader. I have not tried to match my team’s mission with my leaders. And my team does not understand my vision and how to support it. I need help doing this. I do practice this, but I want to do it better. I understand and practice alignment. I try to understand the vision of my leadership and how to support it. I also try to communicate my vision to my team. But I don’t feel it’s working that well. I need help doing this better. I do this really well, but could always do better. I understand alignment. I have setup my team’s mission to support my leadership and their vision. My team clearly understands my mission and vision for them. But we could always do better. None 5. Productivity As a leader, there is never enough time to do everything. But great leaders get things done. They are ruthlessly efficient. They know how to prioritise and focus to accomplish the most important tasks required for success. I do not know what this is I do not know what it means to be productive. I need help understanding what this is and how to do it. I know what this is, but I don’t practice it. I know what productivity is. I know it’s important to prioritise and focus on tasks. But I don’t do this. I just find myself pulled in all directions with no clear focus. I need help learning how to practice productivity. I do practice this, but I want to do it better. I try to be productive. I know how to set priorities and I try to focus on my tasks when I am doing them. But I don’t feel like I am very productive in general. I need help learning how to be truly effective and productive. I do this really well, but could always do better. I am a productive person. I know how to prioritise what is important. When I need to do something, I am able to shut out all distractions and focus on the task at hand. Productivity is one of my superpowers as a leader. Of course, I could learn to be even more productive. None 6. Stakeholder Management Your success as a leader depends on a lot of outside factors you don’t control. Great leaders understand the importance of identifying and influencing stakeholders. You are dealing with various stakeholders inside and outside the company. Investors, customers, and other departments in your company. If you don’t know how to make alliances with your stakeholders, you will never be truly successful. What is your experience with stakeholder management? I do not know what this is I do not know what stakeholder management is. I need help understanding how to identify and manage stakeholders that influence me and my team. I know what this is, but I don’t practice it. I have a lot of pressure from my boss/stakeholders. It is challenging for me to face their expectations. I often feel stressed and just wait for the things to go away.I did not do anything to improve. I do practice this, but I want to do it better. I have a lot of pressure from my boss/stakeholders. It is challenging for me to manage their expectations. I often feel stressed and resourcefulness in facing them. I need some help to improve I do this really well, but could always do better. I do not have issues in managing my stakeholders/my bosses today. I am aware about the pressure and the expectations and manage tit. There is always ways for improvement. None 7. Meeting Your Performance Objectives As a leader, results matter. Your team’s success (and your success as a leader) depends on meeting key performance indicators (KPIs). Great leaders know how to set clear objectives, explain why they are important, and organise and motivate their team to meet them. What is your experience meeting your performance objectives? I do not know what this is I do not know what performance objectives are. I need help understanding exactly what performance objectives are and how to use them to lead my team. I know what this is, but I don’t practice it. I know what performance objectives are. But I have never really set clear objectives for my team. I need help understanding how to set performance objectives and use them to lead my team. I do practice this, but I want to do it better. I have set clear performance objectives for my team. But we struggle with meeting these objectives. I don’t know how to organise and motivate my team to meet their performance objectives. I do this really well, but could always do better. My team has clear performance objectives. My team is clear on our objectives, they understand why they are important, and they always meet them. I would like to understand how to take my team’s performance to the next level. None 8. Your Life Purpose As a leader, it’s impossible to separate work from the rest of your life. If you are clear on your life’s purpose, and you understand how your current position is serving you on your journey to that purpose, you will be happy and fulfilled at work. What is your experience with aligning your work with your life purpose? I do not know what this is I do not know what my life’s purpose is. I need help understanding what my life purpose is, and how I can organise my work to support it. I know what this is, but I don’t practice it. I know what my life’s purpose is, but I don’t understand how to make my work align with my life’s purpose. I know I could be more fulfilled if I figure this out. I need help aligning my work with my life’s purpose. I do practice this, but I want to do it better. I know my life’s purpose, and I consciously try to clearly align what I am doing with my purpose in life. I have a hard time getting the positions and projects in my company that I know will support my larger goals. I need help better aligning my work with my life’s purpose. I do this really well, but could always do better. I am clear on my life’s purpose, and I know exactly how my current role is supporting my long term objectives.
